Allan McLaughlin Chairman
Allan has been the Chairman of Smith & McLaurin since 2009, having originally joined the Board in 2005. He led a management buy-out of the company in 2013 and is responsible for the strategic direction of the business.

Pat Kennedy Managing Director
Pat joined Smith & McLaurin in 2018 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2021. Pat brings extensive operational and technical knowledge to the business, having worked in several diverse industries throughout his career.

Judith has gained 8 years' experience in New Product Development across a range of industry sectors, since graduating with a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry. Having joined our Technical team in 2024, she works in our lab on the development of new products.

Andrew is a recent graduate from the University of Strathclyde studying Chemistry with Drug Discovery. Following university he has been involved within different laboratory based roles and given a taste of product development and scale up.
